About

This website was created for families to quickly and easily find local resources.

Hello Baby is here to support every family with a newborn in Allegheny County.

Hello Baby was designed for every family with a newborn in Allegheny County to help them feel supported and connected to resources and services as they adjust to life with a new baby. Hello Baby is not a specific program but a network of supports offered to meet families’ individual needs and interests.

Families can utilize the website to discover local resources and access information related to raising a baby. The website's chat feature connects families with a PA 2-1-1 Southwest Resource Navigator 24/7, facilitating connections to resources.

Hello Baby is a network of supports.

Families can visit one of many Family Centers located throughout Allegheny County. These community-based centers, available to all families, serve as a hub for social interaction and recreational activities, educational programming, access to essential items such as food, diapers, formula and more!

Some families, needing additional assistance and care coordination to help juggle the complexities of parenthood, may be offered Hello Baby Family Check-Up and Hello Baby Healthy Start services. Eligible families are identified through assessments and community referrals. Hello Baby Outreach Specialists contact families to explain the benefits of the Hello Baby network of services and refer families who choose to participate.
